  • The Coolsma brand goes back to Hans Coolsma, where in 1951, he began to manufacture his own recorders. Today, the workshop is part of the company AAFAB in Utrecht.

  • The Coolsma Terton has been built according an instrument from the museum in the Hague. Engelbert Terton (1676-1752) lived and worked most of his life in Amsterdam.

  • Unlike the original version, our Terton is in 3 parts. This allows more comfort when playing. The instrument is characterized by a beautiful clear tone in all registers.
